Luggage cannot be checked on the return trip from New York to Chicago, but can be checked from Chicago to Fullerton.
Since we'll have to carry on the luggage at least for one leg of our trip, it must meet the following Guidelines for Carry-On Baggage:
- Two-Piece Limit: Each passenger may bring on board no more than two pieces of baggage. Not included in this limit are personal items such as briefcases, purses, laptops.
- 50-Pound Limit: Each carry-on bag may weigh no more than 50 pounds.
- Size Limit: Each carry-on bag may not exceed 28x22x14 inches in size.
- Visible Tag Required: Tag must have name and address of passenger.
Remember that you will have to be able to handle your own luggage getting on and off the train and subway and walking to the apartment.
