Daily walking tours are conducted along the World Trade Center site and are led by people whose lives were profoundly changed by September 11th. Each tour is unique and connects those who want to hear stories with those who want to share them.
Tribute Center Walking Tour Guides are drawn from the September 11th community, (survivors, lower Manhattan residents, recovery workers, volunteers who assisted in recovery and family members). All tours make five stops while traveling around the site. Most of the tour takes place indoors, traveling along the windows of the World Financial Center, looking out onto Ground Zero. Guides share key facts and reveal specific events of the day while weaving their personal experiences of survival, loss, and healing, throughout the tour, giving visitors an unparalleled opportunity to connect with history first-hand.
Joining a Tour
Tours begin at 120 Liberty Street and last approximately 1 hour and fifteen minutes. Tickets for the tours can be purchased at the door of Tribute Center on the day of the tour. To guarantee your spot, please arrive at the Tribute Center 1 hour before your desired tour time.
*Please note that the content of these tours are serious and can be frightening for children under 10 years old. Please use your own discretion as to the appropriateness of this tour for your child.

Exhibits
Experience the vitality of the community that was loved and lost through stories, images and artifacts. Five galleries provide an emotional connection to the events of 9/11. Personal memories reveal the startling realization of the attacks, the tragic consequences, people's will and resolve in the aftermath, and the unprecedented acts of generosity from the nation and world.
